QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to train, support, and coach adults in effective coaching methodologies and adult learning principles;

Ability to collaboratively develop high-quality induction modules, asynchronous training tools, and mentor resource guides;

Understanding of standard observation frameworks (e.g., Danielson Framework for Teaching);

Ability to monitor the implementation of programs and support structures to continuously improve systemic supports;

Exceptional time management, documentation, event management, and organizational skills;
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to relate positively and interact effectively with new teachers, veteran mentors, school administrators, central office leadership, and external partners;

Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace Applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, Forms), as well as learning management systems (LMS); and
-
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in education, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, professional learning, or a closely related field required.A minimum of five (5) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher required, with demonstrated leadership experience in teacher induction, mentor coaching, adult professional development, or program design.Two (2) years of school-based administrative leadership experience preferred.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Holds or is eligible for a valid professional license in Administrator I (historical) or Supervisor of Instruction, Assistant Principal, or Principal issued by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
Certified or ability to become certified in Framework for Teaching (or equivalent district-approved observation model) within a designated timeframe.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts observations and evaluation of mentor teachers.
