Position Overview
Family Cycle Works (FCW) is seeking an dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. This role reports directly to the Family Cycle Works General Manager. Sales Associates act as the face and voice of FCW's retail operation. They make sure every customer feels welcome and receives the expert advice they need to keep smiling for every mile on their bicycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring each and every customer of Family Cycle Works feels welcome, respected and supported on their cycling journey.
- Assess the needs and wants of customers shopping for new bikes, parts and accessories.
- Accurately identify parts and accessories needed to meet each customers' riding goals.
- Provide simple, expert purchasing advise to customers.
- Collaborate with service staff to help customers make confident decisions about servicing their bike, upgrading their bike, or buying a new bike.
- Engage in continuing education to stay updated on industry best practices and new products and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as required to fulfill FCW's vision of being Milwaukee's most beloved bike shop.
Required Skills and Experience
- A passion for bikes.
- Retail sales experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and customer service.
- A demonstrable knowledge of major bike components, accessories, brands and their line-ups.
- Knowledge of bicycle components.
- Attention to detail and a dedication to delivering the highest quality customer service.

Pay: $12.00 - $30.00 per hour
