Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical counseling and a passion for helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and families, to provide therapeutic support and guidance. Please do not apply if you have not graduated. Specifics:
Position is a part time to full time if desired with at least two evening spots per week at full time. Currently looking to fill Wednesday to Saturday availability.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document client progress in compliance with ICD-10 standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic case management and continuity of care.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
- Support clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to manage their conditions effectively.
- Engage in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Prior experience in clinical counseling, particularly with children, with at least 6 months experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with case management practices and medical record documentation is essential.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is preferred to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Experience in providing grief counseling or working within inpatient settings will be considered an asset.
