We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Installation Working Foreman to lead installation crews in the Richmond, VA area.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for installing supermarket refrigeration systems while supervising and directing field crews on new construction and remodel projects. The Working Foreman will follow blueprints, coordinate daily job activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
This role requires schedule flexibility, including days, nights, and occasional out-of-town work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise crews of 5–10 refrigeration installation technicians
- Perform hands-on installation of commercial refrigeration systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
- Plan and coordinate daily job tasks and manpower
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, and team members
- Maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards on job sites

Requirements
- Proven experience installing commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
- Ability to lead and manage multiple technicians effectively
- Ability to travel and work flexible schedules
- Must own or acquire required personal hand tools
- Strong communication skills with customers, coworkers, and management
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
