Looking for 1st and 2nd shift personnel responsible for tending to a pre-set production line by seaming the edges of pieces of glass along a seaming belt, breaking out glass, loading pieces of glass onto a line, inspecting parts, and packing pieces of glass into boxes. Must be able to perform all tasks in safe and responsible manner.
Perform job duties in the plant environment exposed to different sizes of glass parts, noise, dirt, dust, odors, etc.
Be able to work in a hot non air condition environment.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8+ hours
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear, repetitive.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and/or stoop
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Requires manual dexterity to handle glass parts, hand tools and knives.
Tasks require lifting, standing, bending, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, visually observing plastic parts.
