Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled educator with Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating education in emergency medical care to a variety of students . This role requires a passion for student engagement, strong collaborative communication skills, and an understanding of pre-hospital emergency medicine. Instructors play a crucial role in guiding students to success in their educational endeavors.
**NAEMSE Certification is preferred. This position can be hired as an Instructor Trainee with potential sponsorship for completing the NAEMSE I during the training period.
Responsibilities
- Provide clear and consistent communication through interactive lectures and activities in the classroom.
- Implement strategies that encourage meaningful and engaging education experiences to keep students motivated.
- Maintain a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with program director to ensure delivery of current and relevant information and training.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of emergency medicine principles and practices.
- Previous EMT experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient in AHA BLS skills.
- Experience in teaching or training others in medical or emergency procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with curriculum implementation for educational programs is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
