Position Title: Surgical Physician Assistant (Part-Time)
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Location: American Fork Hospital (American Fork, Utah) and Holy Cross Mountain Point Medical Center (Lehi, Utah)

Valley Women's Health is a growing practice, specialized in women's health, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
The Surgical Physician Assistant will work closely with our surgeons to provide comprehensive perioperative patient care, assisting in the operating room.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are our dedicated surgery days

Flexible scheduling may be available based on practice needs

First assist in surgical procedures

Perform preoperative and postoperative patient assessments

Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising surgeons

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies

Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care

Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Current Physician Assistant license in Utah

NCCPA certification
-
Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

BLS and ACLS certification

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Previous surgical experience as a Physician Assistant

Experience in general surgery, women's health, and obstetrics

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
