Job Summary: We are a small and growing transportation with locations in North Miami Beach and Broward County, seeking a dedicated and career-minded individual to join our team as a School Bus Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible to safely and efficiently pick-up and drop-off children at predetermined stops. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow with our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pickup and drop off children at predetermined stops.
- Morning and afternoon shifts to drop-off & pick-up children along a dedicated route.
- Perform DVIR inspections at both the beginning and end of route.
- Maintain bus cleanliness
- IMPORTANT: Conduct end-of-route passenger check to ensure no child is left behind.
- Ability to use GPS and other navigation tools
- Communicate with dispatch team to ensure on-time schedule
- Follow all safety protocols
- Fuel bus, as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of truck or bus driving experience
- CDL-B (Required)
- Passenger Endorsement (Required)
- School Bus Endorsement (Required)
- CDL-A (Plus/Optional)
- English fluency (Required)
- Spanish (Plus/Optional)
- Strong knowledge of local roads and highways
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a small team environment
- Background check (Required)
- Drug testing (Required)
Salary is dependent on experience.
