Company Overview:
Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Steel Fabricator in the Milwaukee area on their search for a Structural Steel Fabricator to support shop production and fabrication efforts. This role will focus on fabricating structural steel components for commercial and industrial projects ranging in value up to $50M.
Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication and will be responsible for reading shop drawings, cutting, fitting, and assembling steel components, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Fabricate structural steel components including beams, columns, and miscellaneous metals
- Perform layout, cutting, fitting, and assembly of steel components
- Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, shears, and presses
- Assist with welding and bolting of steel components as required
- Ensure all fabricated materials meet quality standards and project specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
- Coordinate with shop supervisors, welders, and QA/QC personnel
- Identify and report discrepancies in drawings or materials
- Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Experience operating fabrication equipment and tools
- Basic knowledge of welding and steel assembly processes preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to pass background/drug screen
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
