Maintenance Technician

Job Details

· Maintain a safe work environment (Insure compliance with MIOSHA regulations)

· Preform daily safety walks

Knowledgeable with PLC, programming, cameras (Keyoens),

· Support all production activities

· Preform job duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor

· Diagnose and repair equipment problems

· Execute preventative maintenance activities according to schedule and maintain PM records

· Maintain maintenance department area, equipment, and tools

· Operate and inspect overhead crane

· Support departments other than production, as needed

· Report results or issues of repairs or changes to the maintenance team and supervisor

· Operate and inspect motorized material handling devices

· Read blue prints and machine documentation including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs and downtime

· Perform lockout/tag out as needed

· Demonstrate excellent attendance

· Work Independently or within a team

· Exhibit a positive, “can do” attitude

· Show a strong desire to learn and improve

· Accommodate occasionally fluid working hours as needed

· Demonstrate excellent communication skills

· Provide technical support to production staff and other maintenance personnel

· Fabricate fixtures, stands, racks, tables, etc. from blueprints, sketches, or verbal line up

· Mentor junior technicians

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.32 - $32.00 per hour
