Duties
- Diagnose and repair various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units using detailed schematics and technical manuals
- Perform electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and equipment repairs efficiently in customers’ homes or commercial settings
- Assemble appliances and install new units according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal appliance performance and longevity
- Utilize a box truck or delivery vehicle to transport parts, tools, and equipment safely to job sites
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service visit
- Maintain accurate service records, complete detailed reports on repairs performed, and update work order systems promptly
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or appliance repair specialist with a strong background in field service roles
- Hands-on experience with appliance repair, electrical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for various appliances and equipment
- Previous delivery driver experience using a box truck or similar vehicle is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments while adhering to safety protocols
- Knowledge of assembly processes for appliances or related equipment is a plus

Pay: $17.13 - $34.17 per hour
