Beautyrush Professional (Independent Contractor) — Hair, Nail, Skin, Massage & Pet Grooming Services
Beautyrush connects licensed beauty, wellness, and pet grooming professionals with clients who want quality services delivered directly to their home or location. As a Beautyrush Pro, you'll set your own schedule, choose the jobs you want to accept, and get paid quickly — all while building your own client base through our platform.
This is an independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position. You control when you work, which requests you accept, and how you run your business — Beautyrush simply connects you with clients and handles the technology, payments, and booking.
We're looking for licensed, background-checked professionals across hair care, barbering, nail care, skin care, massage therapy, and dog grooming who take pride in their craft and want the flexibility of being their own boss.
Responsibilities
- Accept and complete service requests through the Beautyrush app at your own discretion
- Arrive on time and prepared with your own tools, products, and supplies for each service
- Maintain a valid, current professional license in your service category, as required by your state
- Carry your own liability insurance where applicable
- Provide services professionally and courteously in the client's home or requested location
- Communicate clearly with clients through the app regarding arrival time, service details, and any changes
- Respect client property and privacy at all times — client belongings are never to be touched, moved, or accepted as gifts
- Maintain sanitary, professional standards consistent with your licensed trade
- Decline or cancel any service that feels unsafe or inappropriate, without penalty
- Rate clients and provide feedback after each completed service to help maintain platform quality
- Keep your profile, availability, and service offerings up to date within the app
- Complete required background check and identity verification steps prior to activation
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
All Hair, Skin, Nail, Makeup & Braiding Professionals:
- Must hold a current, valid Georgia cosmetology or barbering license
- Must provide proof of licensure during application
- (This applies to all hair services offered through Beautyrush, including braiding, cornrows, twists, and extensions — even though Georgia state law does not independently require licensure for braiding specifically.)
Massage Therapists:
- Must hold a current, valid Georgia state massage therapy license
- Must provide proof of licensure during application
- Services offered through Beautyrush are limited to chair massage only
Pet Groomers:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional dog grooming experience
- Georgia does not currently require a state professional license for pet grooming; formal training or industry certification is a plus but not required
- Must pass a background check prior to activation
- Must provide valid identification for identity verification
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to client locations
- Must own and maintain your own professional tools, equipment, and products
- Must have a smartphone capable of running the Beautyrush app
- Must maintain a professional, courteous standard of service
- Liability insurance strongly recommended; required within 90 days of approval
Pay: $100.00 - $250.00 per day
