INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience

Good Fellas Industries (GFI) is a growing manufacturing company serving the hospitality industry. We manufacture custom window treatments, bedding, upholstery, and related products for hotels and commercial projects throughout the United States.
We are looking for a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician who enjoys fixing equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running.
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this position is to keep production equipment operating and minimize downtime. We are looking for someone who takes pride in troubleshooting problems, making repairs, and finding practical solutions that reduce maintenance costs and keep our factory operating efficiently.
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery. Respond quickly to production equipment breakdowns.
Maintain and repair sewing machines and other production equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. Maintain air compressors, generators, steaming equipment, and related systems.
Perform general facility repairs as needed. Assist with equipment installations and factory improvements.
Maintain maintenance tools, supplies, and work areas. Coordinate with outside repair vendors when necessary.
Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and unnecessary maintenance expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, warehouse, or production environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Experience using hand tools and power tools. Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and solve problems. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
