We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Environmental Services team as Trash & Linen Support Associates. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents, staff, and visitors throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include collecting and disposing of trash, transporting soiled linens, delivering clean linens, and supporting overall cleanliness and organization within the building. This is a physically demanding position best suited for individuals who are reliable, motivated, and comfortable with hands-on work.
Collect and dispose of trash throughout the facility
Transport soiled linens to designated laundry areas
Deliver and stock clean linens throughout resident care areas
Replace trash liners and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
Operate carts and transport materials safely throughout the building
Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times
Maintain cleanliness of trash rooms, linen storage rooms, and work areas
Respond to department requests for linen or waste removal as needed
Assist with other environmental services duties as assigned
No prior experience required; training will be provided
Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
Ability to work independently and stay on task
Comfortable pushing heavy carts and lifting throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift for extended periods of time
Previous experience in housekeeping, environmental services, warehouse, moving, sanitation, or laundry services
Experience working in healthcare or long-term care environments
Familiarity with workplace safety and sanitation procedures
Fast-paced healthcare environment
Frequent walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling required
Exposure to trash, soiled linens, and cleaning environments
Physical labor required throughout the entire shift
