Daher is seeking to hire a General Procurement Project Manager to join our new TBM Final Assembly Line in Stuart, Florida. As part of the FAL TBM industrial development project, the General Procurement Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and delivering all general procurement activities required to equip and operationalize the new production facility planned for early 2027.
This is contract position. It is a 12 month fixed-term assignment that is project based.
Job summary:
The role ensures that all purchasing packages are sourced, contracted, and deployed on time, in line with project milestones, budget constraints, and Daher standards.
The position includes:
- End-to-end coordination of general procurement workstreams linked to the new building setup (in France and Stuart)
- Strong interface with Operations, Industrial, Engineering, IT, Quality, Finance, and Project teams
- Deployment of procurement processes, supplier panel, and contracts to support ramp up readiness
- Contribution to cost control, risk mitigation, and operational effectiveness of the new facility
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Project Leadership
- Act as the procurement focal point for the FAL TBM new building project
- Structure, plan, and coordinate all general procurement activities in line with project milestones
- Ensure timely sourcing, contracting, and deployment of all required goods and services
- Secure alignment between procurement execution and overall industrial project planning
- Monitor procurement progress, risks, and dependencies and report regularly to project governance
Sourcing & Contracting Execution
Coordinate and execute procurement activities across the following scopes:
- Logistics and handling equipment
- Industrial maintenance contracts
- Quality, testing, and measurement services
- Production consumables
- Jigs, fixtures, and assembly lines
- Machines, tooling, and production equipment
- Outsourced painting services and renewal/update of existing contracts
- IT infrastructure (hardware and services)
- Software and licenses
- Deployment of digital solutions (SaaS, Cloud applications)
- Facility management and general services contracts
Main responsibilities include:
- Project Management
- Coordination between Operations, Industrial, Engineering, IT, Quality, Finance, and Project teams
- RFQs/RFPs preparation and execution
- Bid analysis and supplier selection
- Negotiation and contracting
- Contract implementation and supplier onboarding
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure procurement solutions meet technical, operational, regulatory, and budget requirements
- Coordinate internal validations and decision-making processes
- Support change management linked to new contracts, suppliers, and tools
- Ensure alignment with Group procurement strategies and standards
Cost, Risk & Performance Management
- Contribute to project budget control and cost consolidation
- Identify procurement-related risks and define mitigation actions
- Secure contract coverage, supplier robustness, and service continuity
- Deploy basic procurement KPIs and reporting for the project
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and handover at project completion
Required Skills
- Strong experience in general procurement and project-based purchasing
- Proven ability to manage diverse procurement categories simultaneously
- Solid understanding of industrial environments and facility setup projects
- Experience with sourcing, negotiation, and contracting
- Ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional purchasing workstreams
- Familiarity with IT procurement, digital solutions, and services sourcing is a strong plus
- Proficiency with ERP systems and reporting tools
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering, or Business
- 7–10+ years of experience in procurement and/or industrial project environments
- Proven experience supporting facility setup, industrial ramp-ups, or major transformation projects
- Strong exposure to cross-functional and international project teams
- Aerospace or complex industrial environment experience is a strong advantage
- Ability to deliver results within a fixed-term mission context
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with sourcing, negotiation, and contracting
