Position Overview
NCS Wizards is partnering with a highly respected, well-established law firm in the Jacksonville area to identify a motivated Associate Attorney for their growing litigation practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level litigator looking to anchor their career with a stable, supportive firm. Notably, prior insurance defense experience is not required. The firm is eager to transition talented litigators from other practice areas and provides excellent mentorship to help them succeed in civil defense.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of civil defense matters from inception through resolution or trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
- Conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
- Maintain regular communication with insurance carriers, clients, and claims adjusters regarding case evaluations and strategy.
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience: 1–5 years of active litigation experience. Experience in Personal Injury,
- Commercial Litigation, General Civil Litigation, Construction, or Employment Litigation is highly valued.
- Licensure: Active member of the Florida Bar, in good standing.
- Location: Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate immediately to the Jacksonville, FL area.
- Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and interpersonal communication skills.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
