As a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care, you’ll work within an advanced Level II Trauma PICU environment. This 15-bed unit is known for its collaborative interdisciplinary teams and modern monitoring technology. By joining this dynamic department, you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of complex pediatric cases, enhancing your skills and broadening your clinical perspective. Schedule/Hours:
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of recent acute care hospital PICU experience
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Preferred: CRRT experience, APHON certification, or previous work in a pediatric teaching hospital
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering expert care to critically ill pediatric patients in a 2:1 nurse-to-patient environment
- Performing key procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
- Utilizing the latest general CR monitoring equipment and Meditech/CPN EMR
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes
