We are a growing custom residential homebuilder specializing in high‑quality, detail-driven homes. We are looking for an experienced Custom Residential Superintendent to manage day‑to‑day field operations and deliver exceptional craftsmanship on every project.
Job Summary
The Custom Residential Superintendent is responsible for managing on‑site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with a deep understanding of custom home building.
Responsibilities
- Manage all on‑site construction activities for custom residential projects
- Create, manage, and update project schedules
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
- Enforce all safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and vendors
- Maintain daily logs, photos, and documentation
- Monitor material usage and ensure timely delivery of supplies
- Manage punch lists and final closeout tasks
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in residential construction
- Strong understanding of custom home building and high-end finishes
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades on-site
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with email, mobile apps, and digital plans
Preferred:
- Experience with luxury or architect-driven custom homes
- OSHA certification
- Experience with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, and navigate active construction sites
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs occasionally

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
