Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment and tools efficiently and safely
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to established standards to ensure hygiene compliance
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities like outdoor surface cleaning and trash removal when required
- Use cleaning detergents safely while adhering to proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting or moving furniture
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial or custodial roles, or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety protocols
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during various cleaning tasks
- Excellent client communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior surface maintenance or outdoor cleaning tasks
- Valid experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is advantageous
