Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate clinical records and charting
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Work collaboratively with the front office and clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Current Dental Assistant certification and radiography certification (if required by state)
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude, dependable, and a team player
- Experience with EagleSoft software is a plus
