Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Group Home Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a residential home serving four ambulatory adults with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will provide effective leadership, ensure high-quality person-centered care, maintain compliance with applicable regulations, and foster a safe, supportive, and respectful living environment for the individuals we serve.
Job Type: Full-Time
Temporary Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Regular Shift: Monday–Friday 11am-8pm
Duties
- Develop, implement, and regularly review resident care plans (ISP) in collaboration with healthcare professionals, families, and team members.
- Supervise daily activities within the group home, ensuring all residents receive personalized care aligned with their individual needs and care plans.
- Lead, motivate, and manage care staff by providing training, performance feedback, and fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and safety standards across all operations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of resident progress, incident reports, staff schedules, and regulatory records using Microsoft Office tools.
- Manage facility operations including budgeting, financial management, resource allocation, and ensuring a clean, safe living environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervisory experience in a residential, healthcare, or human services setting.
- Minimum of 4 years documented experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- High School Diploma or GED required (An Associate’s degree or higher is preferred but not required.)
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Must pass a criminal background check
- CPR/First Aid certification, TOVA or CPI and medication administration training are preferred or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
