We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our GenPro team. If you enjoy working with numbers, building customer relationships, and helping keep a business financially healthy, we'd love to hear from you.
We are a leading residential and commercial standby generator company specializing in generator sales, installation, service, and preventive maintenance. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for someone who can take ownership of our accounts receivable process while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Process customer payments, deposits, and credit card transactions.
- Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
- Contact customers regarding overdue invoices while maintaining professional relationships.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Work closely with the Service, Installation, Sales, and Accounting teams to ensure billing accuracy.
- Prepare weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing and other accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, ServiceTitan, or similar experience is a plus).
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Pay: $22.50 - $30.00 per hour
