A family owned, casual fine dining restaurant in Mazomanie, WI needs a solid Line Cook to join our kitchen team. In this key role, you will be responsible for plating high-quality dishes with precision and care, ensuring every plate meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety.
Join us as a Line Cook part-time for Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon 3p-9p, as we move into the busy season and grow into a Full-time five day a week position, if you want, and help us create memorable moments; one plate at a time.
Duties
- Reliable attendance, occasionally may be asked to cover for a co-worker who could not come in.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Cut meat, season food, deep fry and chop vegetables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-stress busy service hours.
- Basic knife skills and proficiency in food preparation methods.
- Ability to work quickly while under pressure, at busy times, while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Willing to learn from experienced co-workers.
