Position Overview
The Landscape Enhancement Division Leader is responsible for leading all enhancement projects from start to finish.
This individual will oversee project execution, coordinate crews, maintain quality standards, operate equipment, communicate professionally with customers, and help develop the future of our Enhancement Division.
This role is expected to become the leader of the Enhancement Division as PPMG continues to grow and expand its services throughout Northern New Jersey.
This is a long-term leadership opportunity with significant room for growth.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Lead landscape enhancement projects from start to finish
- Read and execute project proposals
- Help build the systems and standards that define the Enhancement Division.
- Coordinate materials, equipment and logistics
- Supervise and mentor an Enhancement Technician
- Maintain production schedules
- Deliver projects safely, efficiently and on time
Quality Control
- Maintain PPMG installation standards
- Perform final quality inspections
- Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction
- Solve problems before they become customer issues
Equipment & Materials
- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, loaders and other equipment
- Coordinate material deliveries
- Maintain trailers, equipment and tools
- Keep jobsites organized and professional
Leadership
- Train and mentor future technicians
- Develop future leaders
- Lead by example every day
- Promote a positive, professional work environment
During Slower Periods
Our team remains productive by supporting company operations through:
- Equipment maintenance
- Shop organization
- Material inventory
- Nursery pickups
- Warranty work
- Small enhancement service calls
- Assisting other divisions when appropriate
- Snow equipment preparation
- Process improvement projects
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has experience with:
- Landscape enhancements
- Plant installation
- Ability to think like an owner and take pride in your work.
- Grading and drainage
- Hardscape installation
- Retaining walls
- Equipment operation
- Trailer towing
Applicants should possess:
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills
- Professional communication
- Pride in craftsmanship
- Positive attitude
- A desire to build a long-term career
Compensation & Benefits
- $30.00–$38.00 per hour (based on experience)
