$19–$22 per hour DOE
About Us
Paris Bakery is a busy bakery, café, and lunch spot in Monterey. We're expanding our evening service and looking for a dependable team member to help launch our new dinner offerings including artisan pizza, fresh salads, soups, sandwiches, and grab-and-go items.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys food service, works well independently, and wants to grow with a local business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas, salads, sandwiches, soups, and other menu items
- Assist with light food prep and stocking
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the shift
- Receive and put away deliveries when needed
- Assist guests and work with front-of-house staff when necessary
- Complete nightly cleaning and closing duties
Qualifications
- Restaurant, café, deli, bakery, or food service experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and stay productive during slower periods
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one)
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone dependable, organized, and eager to learn. Extensive cooking experience is not required. We can train the right person if they have a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
