JOB Performs intermediate advanced human support work assessing and educating clients of various programs on topics related to nutrition and general health, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the assigned supervisor.

- Provides health education to Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) clients.

Issues WIC food vouchers and breastfeeding supplies.

Assesses WIC patients and develops nutrition care plans.

Assesses and provides health education to relevant DHHS clients as allowable.

Communicates with medical providers and their staff about health services provided.

Completed required reports.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education-approved Didactic Program in Dietetics; or Dietetic Technician, Registered with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education with a Bachelor’s degree in any subject area from an accredited four-year college or university; or a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Community Nutrition from an accredited four-year college or university.
