Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and hygienic. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial, residential, or industrial settings.
- Execute floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing surfaces.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Handle custodial responsibilities such as waste disposal and replenishing supplies.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the premises.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment for various surfaces and materials.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is a plus.
- Background in residential painting or porter duties can be beneficial for this role.
