Vie Management is hiring an HVAC-certified maintenance technician to join our student housing community.
Compensation for this position is $30 per hour based on experience, certifications, and qualifications, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.

What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete resident service requests in a timely manner
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including troubleshooting heating and cooling equipment
- Complete plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, ensuring they meet company quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and community amenities
- Assist with emergency maintenance calls and participate in an on-call rotation, including weekends and after-hours emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and preventative maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable safety regulations
- Maintain an organized maintenance shop, inventory, and equipment
- Work closely with the management team to provide an exceptional resident experience through prompt, professional service
Qualifications
- EPA HVAC Certification required (Universal Certification preferred)
- 2+ years of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred
- Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems is preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, and general maintenance repairs
- Ability to prioritize multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications to manage work orders, inspections, and daily maintenance tasks.
- Weekend, holiday, and on-call availability required
