Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Safety Manager to lead our commercial construction safety initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will champion a culture of safety excellence across multiple construction sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs tailored to commercial construction projects, ensuring alignment with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, and other industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to electrical safety procedures, occupational health risks, and construction workplace safety regulations; promptly address issues to prevent incidents.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops for construction teams, emphasizing hazard recognition, emergency response procedures, first aid and CPR certification, and compliance management.
- Manage incident investigations by documenting accidents or near-misses, analyzing root causes, and recommending corrective actions to mitigate future risks.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to develop project-specific safety plans that incorporate risk management strategies and OSHA compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training logs, incident reports, and regulatory compliance documentation using construction management software.
- Stay current with evolving EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) regulations and industry best practices to continuously improve safety protocols across all sites.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site safety management within commercial construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety management practices, including OSHA standards, ANSI standards, NFPA standards for fire protection, and NEC electrical codes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
- Expertise in occupational health principles related to construction environments and risk management strategies.
- Hands-on experience implementing safety training programs and conducting compliance assessments on active job sites.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and Microsoft Office suite for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Valid certifications such as First Aid & CPR, OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred; relevant electrical safety procedures knowledge is a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
