TX Youth Sports and Jr. Doctor are hiring dependable STEM Instructors to teach exciting after school enrichment programs at elementary schools throughout the Northside San Antonio area, including the 78249 area and surrounding communities.
Our instructors do more than teach STEM. They spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and help children build confidence through hands-on learning and discovery.
What You Will Do
- Lead exciting, hands-on STEM activities for elementary-aged students.
- Teach engaging lessons in science, engineering, technology, and other STEM topics.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem solving.
- Create a safe, fun, and positive classroom where every child feels successful.
- Be a positive role model that students look forward to seeing each week.
Availability and Commitment
school schedules are still being finalized. Applicants should tell us which weekdays they are available to work.
All instructors must be able to arrive at their assigned school no later than 2:40 PM. This requirement is non-negotiable.
Our programs run in 5, 6, 8, or 10 week sessions. Students depend on seeing the same instructor every week, just as they depend on their classroom teacher.

Qualifications
- Must live in or near the Northside San Antonio area.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a working cell phone.
- Must be able to arrive at school by 2:40 PM every scheduled workday.
- Must enjoy working with elementary-aged children.
- No science degree is required. We provide curriculum and training.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and communicate professionally.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
