An Onsite Technician job typically involves installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting Avaya telecommunications systems and related equipment at client locations, requiring strong technical skills and customer interaction abilities.
- Installing, configuring, and testing Avaya telecommunications systems and related equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with Avaya systems
- Providing training to clients on the use and maintenance of Avaya systems.
- Maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs, and other activities.
- Moves, Adds, Changes (MAC).
Qualifications:
- Experience with Avaya Aura
- Experience with Avaya Communication Manager
- Experience with Unified Communications and Unified Messaging
- Valid Avaya Aura Certifications are highly desired
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technology, including PBX systems, VoIP, and related networking concepts.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Avaya certifications (e.g., Avaya Certified Professional) are preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
