Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of solar and energy storage projects from start to finish
- Communicate consistently with customers, subcontractors, and internal departments
- Oversee permitting, interconnection, utility requirements, and inspection scheduling
- Review plans and documents for accuracy and ensure all project steps are completed
- Coordinate scheduling, materials, and crew assignments
- Troubleshoot project issues and keep customers informed
- Maintain accurate project updates and documentation in company software
- Ensure compliance with AHJs, utilities, NEC standards, and internal processes
Qualifications
We’re looking for the right attitude first. Experience helps, but the two most important qualities are
- Willingness to learn — no solar experience required; we train the right people
- Comfortable talking to customers on the phone — clear communication is essential
Additional helpful (but not required) qualifications:
- Prior experience in solar, construction, electrical work, or project management
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn project management software
