Quality Control Inspector

We are looking for qualified individuals to oversee and perform daily inspection routines, and assist in managing the quality function. Hands on experience with gage calibration & control, mechanical inspection techniques, quality procedures and methods. The ideal candidate will have fundamental knowledge of statistics and ISO9001/AS9100. Excellent opportunity for a motivated person seeking advancement.
Core Responsibilities
· Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders including GD&T (Y14.5).
· Verify product conformance using go/no-go gages, variable measuring instruments, and master gaging.
· Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
· Follow inspection plans based on product and process requirements.
· Verify measuring equipment is calibrated and in proper working order.
Skills/Abilities Required
o Strong blueprint reading and dimensional inspection skills including GD&T.
o Proficiency with mechanical and electronic measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators, CMM basics).
o Working knowledge of sampling methods and inspection techniques.
o Ability to identify non-conformances and follow escalation procedures.
o Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
o Effective verbal and written communication.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, and movement between inspection area and shop floor.
Frequent use of hand tools and measuring instruments.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Near visual acuity required for measurement work.
