Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
- Manage customer orders from start to finish, ensuring quick service and satisfaction through upselling and friendly interaction
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation guidelines, including cleaning kitchen equipment and dining areas regularly
- Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and accurately process cash handling duties
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Square POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing sales accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with operating kitchen equipment or working in café or grocery store settings is advantageous
