Position Summary
The Accounts Payable & HR role is responsible for supporting daily human resources functions & accounts payable administration. This role serves as a key resource for employees and management while helping ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Accounts Payable
· Process vendor invoices and expense reports.
· Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
· Maintain vendor files and resolve billing discrepancies.
· Prepare payment runs and monitor accounts payable aging.· Assist with month-end reconciliations and reporting.
Human Resources
· Assist with employee onboarding and orientation. Maintain employee records and personnel files
· Support recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
· Administer employee benefits and enrollment changes, including healthcare and 401k Respond to employee questions regarding policies, payroll, and benefits.
· Assist with performance management and employee relations matters. Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Other Responsibilities include
· Assist with payroll reporting and audits.
· Ensure compliance with governing bodies including L&I and Ecology.
· Maintain employee records, including onboarding and safety training
· Maintain safety records, training logs, and compliance documentation.
· Coordinate employee safety training and onboarding requirements.
· Assist with accident and incident reporting including mitigating L&I claims

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen attention to detail, a positive attitude and experience working in a team setting.
- Organized, rigorous, able to implement and follow policies and procedures and maintain excellent filing systems
- Self-starter and proactive, capable of working independently and working with colleagues positively
- Flexible, willing to pitch in/wear different hats to get the job done
- Experience with payroll/accounting software is an asset
- Knowledge of and experience working in the manufacturing or construction industry is considered a strong asset
- Strong interpersonal skills - gets along well with others and is a team player
- Excel skills are a strong asset
- Preference given to bilingual (English & Spanish) communication skills
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
