ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor to join our Canton, OH team. In this role, you will lead the surveying and geomatics department, manage projects for public and private sector clients, and play a key role in growing the practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all aspects of the surveying and geomatics department, including field crews and supporting technical staff
- Manage survey and geomatics projects for public and private sector clients
- Identify and develop business opportunities with new and existing clients
- Maintain communication with key staff and offices to ensure department success and sustainability
- Plan, organize, supervise, and mentor survey crews, technicians, and internal staff
- Coordinate assignments to support project management and deadline adherence
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Licensure: Active Professional Surveyor (PS) license in the State of Ohio required
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a team, mentor staff, and manage multiple crews
Project management: Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and manage projects across varying scopes
Time management: Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines
Work style: High productivity working both independently and collaboratively
