Arium Signs is looking for an Industrial Designer – Sign Production & Large-Format Printing to join our production team in Orlando, FL.
This role is focused on creating accurate, production-ready designs for roadway, traffic, and commercial signage. The ideal candidate has experience working in sign production, large-format printing, vinyl graphics, and production design software, especially FlexiSIGN.
This is a hands-on, in-person role that combines design, print preparation, material coordination, and production support. The right candidate should be comfortable working both on the computer and alongside the manufacturing team to help bring signage projects from artwork to production.
This position is best suited for someone who understands that design in a manufacturing environment is not just about appearance. Accuracy, measurements, materials, spelling, colors, file setup, and production details all matter.

Responsibilities
- Create and prepare production-ready artwork for roadway, traffic, and commercial signage
- Use FlexiSIGN to design, edit, and prepare files for production
- Prepare large-format print files with correct dimensions, spelling, colors, layouts, and specifications
- Support vinyl production, reflective sheeting, and sign-component preparation
- Operate or assist with large-format printing equipment
- Review artwork and files before production to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with the production team regarding project details, materials, timelines, and corrections
- Assist with sign layouts, templates, and production preparation
- Help ensure finished work meets Arium’s quality standards
- Communicate clearly with team members when updates, approvals, or corrections are needed
- Maintain an organized production workflow and file system
- Support the team with hands-on production tasks when needed
Requirements
- FlexiSIGN experience required
- Experience with large-format printing required
- Experience with vinyl production required
- Experience preparing production-ready artwork for signage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to review files for spelling, measurements, layout, color, and specifications
- Comfortable working in a hands-on production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Reliable, organized, proactive, and able to work well with a team
- Spanish required
- Must be able to work in person in Orlando, FL
Preferred Experience
- HP Latex printer experience
- Roadway, highway, or traffic-signage experience
- Commercial sign production experience
- Experience working with reflective materials or sign substrates
- Experience coordinating with production, fabrication, or installation teams
- Knowledge of sign-industry production standards is a plus
Ideal Candidate

Work Environment
This is an in-person position at our Orlando facility. The role involves working in both a design/production-prep setting and a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable communicating with production team members and supporting the workflow from design to print production.
