Job Title: Shipping/RF Operator
Location: Wallingford, CT
Pay Rate: $20–22/hr (Based on Experience) (adjust if different)
Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (Temp-to-Perm)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Shipping/RF Operator to support both the Shipping and RF (Receiving/Final Packaging) departments. This position will split time approximately 50/50 between shipping responsibilities and RF operations, assisting with closing, packaging, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing customer orders.

Assist in the RF department by closing and packaging completed orders.

Verify products, quantities, and shipping documentation for accuracy.

Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.

Operate shipping software, scanners, and other warehouse equipment.

Ensure products are packaged according to company and customer specifications.

Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet shipping deadlines.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Support both Shipping and RF departments as workload demands.
Skills & Qualifications

Previous shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Experience packaging and preparing products for shipment.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software or ERP systems.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an electronics or manufacturing environment.

Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.

Familiarity with inventory control and shipping documentation.
