Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts following established recipes and standards
- Mix, blend, and assemble ingredients using professional kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and pastry tools
- Decorate cakes and baked items with precision to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Assist in food handling, packaging, and portioning
- Support high-volume production needs while adhering to recipe specifications and quality standards
- Operate kitchen machinery safely and efficiently during food preparation processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a commercial kitchen or bakery setting is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations with willingness to obtain food handler certificate within 30 days of hire date.
- Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in baked goods
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume environment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced setting
