Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Bobarista to join our LCC Cafe, Downtown and/or food truck team. As a Bobarista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in boba and coffee preparation along with customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our guests.
Availability on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of boba and coffee beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and Square POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.
- Uphold company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling, cash handling, and basic math skills is essential.
- Familiarity with Square POS systems or similar cash register systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Work Schedule
- We are primarily looking for people to work our LCC cafe, food truck pop-up and catering events. Our food truck and catering shifts vary by event, location, date and time but usually take place Fridays and Saturdays with occasional Sunday shifts. We are looking to hire about 2-4 people to work primarily food truck and catering events.
- The hours at our cafe at Leeward Community College are Monday-Friday from 8am-3pm with shifts ranging from 7am-4pm. We are looking to hire about 1-2 people to work primarily at our LCC location.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
