Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to diagnose and repair various types of machinery and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using various tools, including an Ohmmeter, to identify faults in electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections to assess the condition of equipment and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
- troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical problems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment, particularly an Ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with mechanical work.
