Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations for our hotel. This energetic position combines guest relations, administrative duties, and security responsibilities to provide exceptional service and maintain the safety and integrity of the property. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact during the overnight shift, delivering top-tier customer service while managing front desk operations and financial reconciliations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for our guests during their late-night hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and inquiries in a friendly, professional manner using excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone systems
- Manage front desk operations including reservations, guest requests, and billing using hotel management software such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and reporting for the next day’s operations
- Monitor security cameras, perform routine safety checks, and respond promptly to any emergency procedures or guest concerns during the overnight shift
- Maintain guest relations by addressing complaints or special requests with hospitality expertise and multilingual communication skills when applicable
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to ensure seamless communication with daytime staff
- Uphold hotel policies on guest confidentiality, safety procedures, and emergency protocols to ensure a secure environment for all visitors
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort experience or in a hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or similar software platforms
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest services standards, and crisis management protocols
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism at all times
- Previous night audit experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform security checks for extended periods during overnight hours
