Primary Function:
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join the RollPros team in a highly customer-facing, field-oriented role. In this position, you will provide hands-on system training, equipment support, and repair services for complex industrial equipment, with regular travel to customer facilities for equipment commissioning, end-user training, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliable and successful operation of our automated systems.
New hires complete a 90-day onboarding period, gaining hands-on experience with our equipment through the assembly process before transitioning into independent field service responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with clients through both verbal and written channels to provide clear technical support and guidance.
- Travel to customer sites to perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and minor preventive maintenance.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of complex industrial automation equipment and associated systems.
- Train customers on the proper, safe, and efficient use of equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Interpret pneumatic schematics and electrical wiring diagrams accurately.
- Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to evaluate system performance and identify faults.
- Collaborate effectively within a team-based environment while also working independently in the field.
- Travel to customer facilities as required, up to 75% travel depending on business needs.
Education and Experience:
- High School or GED required; Associates Degree or Certification in related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience servicing or repairing machinery and equipment (or similar)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to travel within US and Canada (fly, drive, obtain passport)
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Starting Salary: $80,000 USD
The beginning salary will fall within a range determined by the candidate’s level of professional experience.
