From The Heart Home Care is seeking a patient, dependable, and energetic caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a child with special needs in the Beaufort area.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with children, understands the importance of consistency and routine, and can provide compassionate care while helping the child build independence and confidence.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday
9:30 AM – 3:45 PM
Approximately 25 Hours Per Week
Client Needs & Responsibilities
- Assist with morning and daily routines
- Help with personal hygiene and dressing
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Provide companionship and positive engagement
- Encourage independence while maintaining a safe environment
- Assist with age-appropriate activities and routines
- Communicate effectively with the family regarding the child's day
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities strongly preferred
- Experience providing one-on-one childcare preferred
- Patient, positive, energetic, and dependable
- Able to establish routines and provide consistent care
- Strong communication skills
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
- Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other ride-share services do not qualify
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required
- Must be a South Carolina resident
- Ability to pass a background check
