Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving.
- Load and unload dry cleaning items efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
- Deliver orders promptly to customers’ homes or businesses, ensuring accuracy and completeness of each delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing any concerns with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records throughout your shift.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, preparing shipments for delivery, and performing routine safety checks on vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate routes, report issues, or update delivery statuses.
Experience
- Previous delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or commercial driving roles involving route driving.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and load securing practices.

Pay: $24.79 - $29.86 per hour
