Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented patient care technician to perform diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures in a fast-paced clinic. The ideal candidate will support efficient clinic workflows, deliver compassionate patient care, and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine EEGs, QEEGs, VNGs, and cognitive assessments
- Administer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and peripheral nerve stimulation
- Ensure correct and precise electrode placement for accurate testing
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up to optimize clinic flow
- Review and update medical documentation and care plans for completeness and HIPAA compliance
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Ability to travel to satellite locations to perform testing
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting preferred
- Experience with EEG, VNG, cognitive testing, or neuromodulation techniques is a plus
- Strong customer service and patient etiquette skills
- Ability to remain calm and reassuring with anxious patients and children
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred

- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for electrode placement
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move or lift equipment as needed
- Comfortable assisting patients with limited mobility
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
