As a Consulting Epic Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the healthcare industry, leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives. You will be the driving force behind the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects. Your expertise in the Epic system, particularly in Beaker or Willow, will be crucial in ensuring the seamless integration and utilization of these modules within the healthcare environment. You will be working at an enterprise level, with executive visibility, and be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of Epic projects, including but not limited to the planning, execution, and closing of projects.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the project aligns with the organizational goals.

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and milestones.

Manage and control project risks and issues, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place and effectively executed.

Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including executives, on the progress of the project, any risks or issues identified, and mitigation strategies.

Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget, meeting or exceeding quality standards.

Foster a productive, collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and active participation from all team members.

Continuously monitor and review project progress, adjusting as necessary to ensure the project remains on track and within scope.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.

Strong background in Epic, specifically in Beaker or Willow.

Proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.

Experience managing budgets, timelines, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.

Comfortable operating at an enterprise level with executive visibility.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for thinking creatively to overcome challenges.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or related field.
-
Epic certification in Beaker or Willow is highly desirable.
