Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant II to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.
Duties:
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in pediatric dentistry
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques
- Knowledge of vital signs and patient assessment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
- Competence in dental documentation and record keeping
- Proficiency in X-Ray imaging and dental imaging techniques
