Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer
We are seeking a motivated and professional Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing repair facility. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and experienced in communicating automotive repairs clearly and confidently. This role is essential in connecting our customers with our technicians and ensuring a smooth, transparent repair process from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and accurately document vehicle concerns and service requests
- Write detailed repair orders and communicate clearly with technicians
- Present inspection results, maintenance recommendations, and repair estimates to customers
- Provide updates to customers throughout the repair process
- Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Upsell maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and trust
- Follow up with customers after service to maintain relationships and encourage return business
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to understand basic automotive systems and repair recommendations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with dealership or independent repair shop workflow is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
