CNC & EDM Maintenance Technician – Philadelphia, PA
Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines, Wire, Sinker and Small Hole EDM machines, and similar manufacturing systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong experience troubleshooting CNC equipment and industrial machinery.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Wire, Sinker, and Small Hole EDM maintenance experience
- Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, press brakes, EDM equipment, and other production machinery.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform equipment rebuilds, alignments, calibrations, and machine testing.
- Use precision measuring tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and complete scheduled maintenance.
- Assist with equipment installations, facility improvements, and machine relocations.
- Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs in the work order system.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment while following OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and 5S standards.
